Hello! My name is Rachael, and I am the founder of Safer Homes Environmental Services. I started working in the restoration industry in 2016 and spent years in the field learning the ins and outs of proper mitigation processes. I found I had a passion for helping homeowners when they were going through a difficult time and using my knowledge to guide them back to stability following a crisis. Through this development I also grew an appreciation for team member training and safety. I enjoyed my various roles of production and project management. During this time, I obtained my Asbestos Inspectors license to ensure the safety of property occupants, as well as my team prior to work measures beginning. What started as a small Asbestos Inspection company has grown to encompass several environmental inspections, testing and consulting services. I hope to continue to grow in this industry and to share my knowledge and experience with others for years to come.

Hey! I’m Carlos and I have been an Asbestos Inspector with Safer Homes Environmental since 2021. Before joining the team, I was part of the restoration industry for 4 years. Areas that I hope to explore in the Environmental Services Industry include asbestos and lead abatement. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, doing home improvement projects, as well as performing automotive and mechanical work.

Hello, I’m Justin! I am very family oriented. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my kids! I have worked in the restoration/mitigation industry for about 7 years and have been with Safer Homes Environmental since early 2024. During my mitigation training, I have received IICRC certification in Water Mitigation, Fire Restoration, Odor/Smoke Cleaning, and Stone/Tile/Masonry Cleaning along with Advanced Structural Drying courses. I am a licensed asbestos inspector, project monitor, and a Certified Structural Mold Investigator. I am most passionate about using my training, experience, and expertise to help our clients. My professional goals are to better myself and expand my knowledge to always offer our clients the best possible service.

I’m Sasha and I joined the Safer Homes team in 2024. Anyone who knows me also knows that I am a very strong-willed person. Therefore, if I want to get something done, I get it done! I take pride in everything I do. So while nothing is ever perfect, I try to give every task to complete task the way I would want someone to do anything for me. I strive daily to remaining open-minded, because I feel that everyone should be able to speak their thoughts judgement free. My personality draws people to me, I show respect because I don’t expect respect without giving it first. I always take things one day at a time because I don’t like to rush my progress in anything I do.

Asbestos inspector & Project Manager
Prior to joining the Safer Homes team, I worked in the mitigation/restoration field for about 5 years. I always enjoyed the science behind worker/occupant safety and prided myself on ensuring my team had all the necessary tools and training to assist customers in the safest way for homeowners and themselves. I have two young daughters, and ensuring families are safe became particularly important to me when they entered my life. Part of this process was asbestos testing building materials, which I quickly found to be something I enjoyed. Following this path I have expanded into project monitoring and post abatement clearances. I take pride knowing that our work allows people to have peace of mind that the work done in their homes or offices is conducted in safe manner for everyone involved.

Hello, my name is Cora, and I am the newest team member at Safer Homes Environmental. I am a licensed asbestos inspector, dedicated to advancing my expertise and currently working toward obtaining an asbestos clearance license. I look forward to continuing my education and training with the support of my team. I take pride in being a thorough and dependable professional. Ensuring the safety of families, clients, and coworkers is a top priority to me. Outside of work, I have a deep appreciation for nature, plants, and life’s simple pleasures. I enjoy traveling, family gatherings, nature walks, learning new skills, and spending time with my younger siblings and cousins. I am proud to join the Safer Homes Environmental team and excited to grow within the industry.
